Advancing Kidney Care 2026 (AKC2026) is a part of Hon. Steven Miles', Minister for Health and Minister for Ambulance Services, set of priorities to improve the outcomes and benefits delivered for all Queenslanders from the health system.
With an estimated one in 10 Queenslanders having medical signs of chronic kidney disease, kidney health is also a key priority for Queensland Health. Queensland Health developed the Advancing Kidney Care 2026 Plan to improve kidney health and kidney health services in Queensland’s public health system.
