The Clinical Excellence Queensland (CEQ) is headed by an Executive Management Committee (EMC). EMC’s main role is corporate governance and developing the division’s priorities, which support its corporate planning process. EMC also determines operational policy and strategies to identify and manage key areas of risk and portfolio-wide issues.
Certain branches of CEQ are also supported by key clinical leads, including the Chief Psychiatrist in the Mental Health Alcohol and Other Drugs Branch (MHAODB). Clinical leads in other branches provide expertise and guidance on matter including patient safety, quality, access to hospital services and the digital transformation of healthcare.
