Queenslanders with, or at risk of developing, kidney disease will have more support and greater access to services thanks to the new statewide Advancing Kidney Care 2026 (AKC2026) Plan launched on 6 June 2019.
The AKC2026 Plan aims to align efforts and resources to improve kidney health and kidney care for all Queenslanders.
A key focus will be equitable access to services for Aboriginal people and Torres Strait Islander people, and people living in rural and remote areas.
