The Office of the Chief Nursing and Midwifery Officer (OCNMO) is pleased to announce registration is now open for the inaugural Growing Deadly Families Showcase 2023 - Strong Mothers, Healthy Babies: Growing Deadly Families!
The Growing Deadly Families (GDF) Showcase 2023 is an event designed to promote, connect, and celebrate First Nations maternity models across Queensland by highlighting workforce, engagement, partnerships, and innovative ways to deliver culturally appropriate care for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander mothers, babies, and families.
We are bringing together health organisations from across Queensland to share and brainstorm the various successes, challenges, and goals they have encountered. This is a unique moment to share and highlight current best practice models in urban, rural, and remote areas of Queensland in both the Hospital and Health Services sector and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community Controlled Health services.
Please join us for a unique opportunity to hear first-hand from a range of professionals about Co-Design, Models of Care, partnerships, delivery, and their impact on health outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in Queensland.
