The statewide Assertive Mobile Youth Outreach Service from Children’s Health Queensland will describe the framework they used to manage the wellbeing of adolescents and families with complex mental health problems, including social, emotional and intergenerational complexities – all despite the pandemic.

The framework (known as AMBIT) is based in neuroscience and psychology and uses a systems-based approach. As it’s not specific to youth psychiatry, you can find out how it can be used in any service with great impact. As described by the team, it’s like a new type of rocket science – but easier!
