Therapeutic Interventions Resource Hub – Helping to Deliver Gold Standard Mental Health Care for Rural and Remote Queenslanders

Clinicians working within rural and remote community mental health teams are often required to have an extraordinary breadth of knowledge and skillset across the lifespan. However, conversely are less likely to be able to access training and the most up to date gold standard evidence based therapeutic intervention resources or training.

The Therapeutic Interventions Resource Hub is an innovative website available online to clinicians based in the Townsville Hospital and Health Service. Clinicians can access a range of resources in real time, with confidence they are utilising gold standard intervention psychoeducation and resources.

The Hub is supporting rural and remote clinicians to have access to specialist support to build capacity, stepping away from traditional biomedical models of care to a more holistic mental health recovery journey, ensuring consumers can access high quality mental health care regardless of where they live.
