Metro North Hospital and Health Service’s Women’s Business Shared Pathway is improving access to gynaecological care for First Nations women.
This new culturally safe pathway has seen a drastic reduction in missed appointments and includes a range of support services to provide care in a way that suits consumers.
Designed in partnership with the Institute for Urban Indigenous Health, the pathway was designed in consultation with their consumers to ensure it truly meets the needs of the local community.
