Queensland Health has used the Brightspace learning platform to create a collaborative, cloud-based learning environment that 81,606 healthcare workers have used in the last twelve months. Officially launched on 2015, iLearn@QHealth provides ongoing professional development and education to doctors, nurses, allied health, pathologists, forensic scientists, and medical educators, administration officers, rural and remote clinicians external to Queensland Health and consumers. The Clinical Excellence Division has published over 20 education courses on iLearn@QHealth that help health services to meet the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards, clinical and non-clinical training needs. These courses are free and available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, all of which have been designed and developed by content experts.
Available from any location, on any computer with internet access and some modules can be used for continuing professional development points.
