Keynote speaker

Captain Jan Becker—CEO, Becker Helicopters Group—will be our keynote speaker. She is living proof you can fly high in business and life while still staying grounded and making the world a better place.

Her gritty determination, global vision and unique background in nursing and aviation makes Jan an international force for change in the helicopter industry, in business, and in women's and babies' health. A trained midwife, Jan is a captivating, funny, engaging, forthright and thought-provoking speaker who shares the keys to successfully captaining your own life, business and health. She is also passionate about reducing child mortality and improving maternal health in some of the world's most under resourced countries.

Jan founded Midwife Vision to provide education, professional support and resources to midwives at the Amana Referral Hospital in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Her hands-on involvement means she funds equipment and makes annual trips to Tanzania to volunteer as a midwife and educator in the hospital's busy labour ward where staff help deliver up to 100 babies a day.
